Jan Bentele started his career in 1998 as an advisor to Deutsche Telekom headquarters in the areas of pricing and sales strategy as well as process optimization. 
He then joined Finish mobile VAS start-up Iobox, helped expand its business into Germany, and later on integrated the company with Telefónica in Madrid.

In 2001 he founded WLAN AG, raised funding, developed the business into Germany's leading provider of highspeed internet acccess in hotels, sold it to Swisscom and then expanded the business to make it the market leader across western Europe.

Since leaving Swisscom he has helped companies such as Deluxe Music Television, LS Telcom, Terratec, Torqeedo, Travian and Welt der Wunder expand their businesses. Jan is passionate but realistic about new technologies and business models. Customers and colleagues alike value his structured and cooperative business approach.
