Bob Stumpel started his first career as a researcher of and teacher in Dutch mediaeval literature. The contours of his role as an expert in the TIME industry took shape when he operated his advertising agencies, Hammerschmidt/FCB and Catchline Communications/HCM. In '94 he also founded interactive agency CLIC, and later he was involved in co-founding Preview (Holland's largest film magazine), FunFone (mobile content), The Innovators (consultancy), and Cellspace (a non-traditional marcom agency).
As an advisor, Bob worked for many large and mid cap companies, like KPN, VNU, Sanoma, Irdeto, RTL, and many automotive and retail brands. As an interim manager, Bob worked for numerous TIME companies, a.o. Xing, CaliberMedia, Ikki, Bidster and Belysio. He has helped several Dutch companies to roll-out internationally, a.o. Web Power, Ines Gloves, and Myngle. As an investor, Bob is or has been involved in many new media companies, a.o. Overloaded, Infocaster, Mendix, IRL Connect, and Peers. He holds or held board positions at these same companies. He is part of the management team of Result.
