Bülent started his career in media, just when private media in Turkey were introduced, in 1992. After a career of 8 years, where he eventually became the general manager of a TV station and established and managed a number of national radio stations, he went on to form his own company in 2000, Zap Medya, the first digital advertising agency in Turkey.

Bülent made Zap to expand its services to search and content management and also started an online creative and strategy agency, Bezoone. Combined, these agencies have served over 500 national and international brands.

As the industry grew, Zap also initiated the foundation of several umbrella branche organizations for the digital advertising industry in Turkey, such as the Turkish IAB.
