This year’s event, to be held November 18 -19 in  Montreux, is focused on bringing together Europe’s most innovative web & mobility startups, leading venture capitalists and senior industry professionals. The CEOs or VPs of 25 companies selected (from a pool of over 350) will present to an international delegation of more than 120 influential investors, technology industry leaders, service providers and academics.

“Europe has been a powerhouse of ideas and concepts for a very long time. In the field of mobility particularly, there are still many hidden gems who work in one market and are just waiting to be released worldwide,” says the Web & Mobility Summit President (and CEO of Result), Robert Lang.

For the selected companies it’s a unique opportunity to present to an audience of high quality investors with the objective of obtaining financing. But also for all the ones who don’t make it to the final – the participation is a great opportunity to “radiate” their business idea to a great group of angel investors (see the list here).

Key sectors to be included are social networks, mobile publishing, adserving and gaming, as well as e-commerce, e-business, payments and billing.
