A periodic table of Everything Social

Creating new things in the sociosphere is all about mixing and mashing up unbundled bits and pieces from other social media. Rick Liebling has built a beautiful (and funny) periodic table of social media elements:

1.2 B people on the web

We at Result have always thought that once you have chiseled out an internet business model that works locally, it's almost a sin not to expand it into other markets. Given today's internet penetration and  users' behavior that's more true than ever.

VIKINGS VS PIRATES

This week Pirate Bay will be brought before a Swedish court. See & hear here how relaxed PB's Peter Sunde is about the legitimacy of their role in the free distribution of copyright materials. The video was taken during last November's SIME, in Stockholm.

Twitterverse is becoming more relevant by the day

Twitter, as a phenomenon, is really exploding, in all dimensions. They count their users in the millions now (our actual guess: well over 5M), there are many hundreds of applications tapping in on their API, and the whole world is talking and writing about them.
